Suitable for beginners and intermediate students Maximum 3 students per class Learn the fundamentals of wheel throwing or develop your techniques if you have some previous experience in a small, supportive class designed to give you plenty of individual guidance and hands-on practice. Whether you’re completely new to the potter’s wheel or looking to refresh and improve your skills, this course provides the opportunity to work at your own pace. What to expect from the class You will learn the fundaments of throwing right from how to wedge your clay to centering and throwing your pots. Try different surface decoration techniques Learn to trim your pots, attach handles or move onto more complex forms if you feel ready Learn different glazing techniques With small class sizes the teaching can be tailored to meet your needs. Additions information All materials and tools required is included Firing of work is charged seprately depending on volume made Incase you can’t make a class we offer a free 2 hour catch up session. We offer tea, coffee and biscuits during the class. Please bring an apron or wear an old shirt as it can get messy!
